Modified cardiac rehabilitation can reduce the risk of death by 76% in stroke patients.

Stroke survivors who completed a modified cardiac rehabilitation programme that includes medically supervised exercise, prescription medication, and physician follow-up had a 76 percent decreased chance of dying within a year following their first stroke, according to an experimental study. The findings could influence how stroke patients are treated in the future.
